TACVIO was founded by Joseph Troia, a career Firefighter/EMT with IAFF Local 2956, alongside his brothers Justin Troia and Jack Troia. Together, they saw firsthand that fire and EMS agencies were running critical operations on outdated tools, spreadsheets, and paper forms that hadn't changed in decades.
From the firehouse floor, Joseph watched departments struggle with the same problems over and over: lost narcotic logs, expired PPE still in service, training records buried in filing cabinets, and uniform budgets blown without anyone knowing until it was too late. The tools that existed were either built for corporate offices or priced out of reach for most departments. With Justin and Jack equally driving the development, the three brothers set out to change that.
